Best Folding Cot Jul 28, 2010
I want to be the first to say that this is the best cot I have used for camping. In the past my Wife and I have used a Queen sized air mattress.. I could fill it up with air at night, and never fail be on the ground by morning. I have tried a few other type military type cots. Some were really cheaply made, and cost a lot more money. This is the best cot I have used. Well worth the price paid.. I found it on ebay.. It seems like it is very well made. The company even has a video on youtube that explains how to set it up. Some good tips there. This cot seems like it is put together pretty good.. I am 6', and I am able to move around without fear of falling off, or my feet sticking off the end. The cot is light weight, and doesn't take up much room in the car. I would recomend this cot to anyone looking for camping cot, or an extra bed..

I LOVE THIS COT. Dec 29, 2010
This cot is great! My son is in the military and he said this cot is more durable and comfortable then the ones he uses. He is not a small guy and he fits on this cot perfectly. For how strong and solid this cot is, its surprisingly light. Even I, a 57 year old woman, can carry this cot in its carry bag with ease. I would recommend this cot to anyone going camping.

Sturdy, well constructed, easy to set up cot Feb 11, 2011
I had this cot set up in 2 minutes. It is well made, well finished and sturdy. It features a good size sleeping surface and is actually comfortable. Packs into a stable carry bag and is easy to stow and transport. Much better than the inflatable mattresses that deflate or develop leaks after the first use. I can recommend this cot to anyone looking for quality.
One comment for the outdoors folks: It is advisable to use a thermo pad if you are out in cold conditions. The cot won't keep your back and bottoms warm.

Rubbish Aug 12, 2011
By Carl LeGrice
They say a chain is only as strong as its weakest link so no matter how well the rest of this is made it's now garbage after 2 weeks of use. I bought this based on the good reviews so was very disappointed. The pins at the end of the frame that are used to secure the cross pieces are made of PLASTIC and after less than 2 weeks use by a 90 pound 14 year old, 3 of the 4 pins have sheared off making the cot useless.

This is Extra Large? Feb 19, 2011

The cot seems sturdy enough. It wobbles slightly when you move around at all, but I suppose that's to be expected. My "problems" with it are that it was NOT as easy to put together as other reviews mentioned. You really only have to unfold it and slide 2 rails in. The second rail was the problem. It took both my husband and I to get the final thing snapped into place. Maybe it will get easier once it's used more, but that would also mean the decking would have to stretch, which might not be good. My other problem is that the cot is not as wide as advertised. Mine only measures 25 inches across. And unless you plan on sleeping on the metal side rails, the actual flat, sleeping area is only 21 inches wide. NOT 28.5 as advertised. It's very firm, but not as bad as sleeping on the floor. I plan on getting a foam pad for it,but I'll buy something at the local fabric store. Not spending more on the pad than the cot!
